Wristband System Made Mandatory at Lucknow Zoo for Visitor Convenience and Safety

Lucknow — The administration of Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Prani Udyan (Lucknow Zoo) has made wearing wristbands mandatory for all visitors to enhance convenience and security. Zoo Director Aditi Sharma stated that visitors without a wristband on their wrist will be considered as entering without a valid ticket.

The wristbands are designed to save visitors from unnecessary ticket checks. If a visitor is wearing a wristband, it verifies that they hold a valid ticket, and there will be no repeated ticket inspection within the zoo premises.

Each wristband features the zoo’s logo and a unique serial number, and the color of the band is changed daily to prevent misuse on subsequent days.

In case a visitor does not receive a wristband despite having a valid ticket, or if a staff member unnecessarily demands a wristband, complaints can be immediately reported to the Regional Forest Officer, Dinesh Badola (Mobile: 9453437344, 8005493611), or the Director’s Office Clerk, Anoop Chaturvedi (Mobile: 8005493627). Complaint registers are also available at both zoo entrances.

This move aims to streamline visitor management while ensuring safety and a hassle-free experience for all guests.
